WoodStains
Woodstain’s are decorative and protective coatings for interior and exterior smooth planed and rough sawn woodwork/joinery.
Currently there are water based and solvent based versions of woodstain offering translucent and opaque finishes with wide selections of natural wood and solid colours.
Woodstain’s are usable on hardwood and softwoods and are generally weather resistant, water repellent, microporous – (allowing timber to breathe) and their finishes are not prone to flaking, peeling and cracking.
Woodstain systems correctly applied to manufacturer’s instructions give favourable maintenance cycles of around 4 to 5 years, requiring only one top coat over suitably cleaned surfaces.
